It is undeniable that macOS Sierra is much better than the previous version. For most of us, it works seamlessly, and I personally think it is Apple's best macOS to date.
Although the user also reported a lot of problems, upgrade to macOS Sierra at the same time. In today's post, I will discuss some of these issues and their fixes. I hope it can help you a lot.
1. Wi-Fi problem
problem
In this age of the Internet, slow Internet or connectivity issues are the most frustrating problems anyone can ever encounter. After installing the new macOS Sierra, some users reported that the site containing the download was loading very slowly.
repair
First, make sure your router is working properly and your ISP has no connectivity issues. Once you've determined that you don't have the above problem, try the next steps mentioned below.
Open Finder , select GO from the menu, then press alt to view the Library option
Go to /Preferences/SystemConfiguration / in the Library.
Now delete the following file
- Preferences.plist
- Com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
- Com.apple.network.identification.plist
- Com.apple.wifi.message-tracer.plist
- NetworkInterfaces.plist
Restart your Mac and router. Your current Wi-Fi is working fine.

There are several ways to get rid of this annoying problem.

Some features in macOS Sierra are only available for iCloud, and during the installation process, it prompts you to enable these applications, such as Storage Optimization and iCloud Documents&Desktop. If you skip this step, an annoying problem will occur from time to time – authentication issues or iCloud errors
repair
If you see an error like "Bad connection to iCloud", log out of iCloud, restart your Mac and try logging in to your iCloud account again.
5. Installed app show " damaged, can't open " error
problem
This issue may suddenly appear after installing macOS Sierra. When you try to launch an app, you may receive an error message such as "corrupted and unable to open"
repair
Make sure you have the latest version of the app you want to launch, and if not, update the app. If the problem persists, please completely remove the app and reinstall it.
If there is no other work, you should clear the cache. To do this, open the Finder
Click "Start" in the top menu and select "Go to Folder"
Then type " ~ /Library/Caches " in the text box .
Now delete the files in each folder and repeat the /Library/Caches process (without the ~ symbol)
