Now our U disk, memory card or mobile hard disk has mass storage in GB or even TB, but more than 20 years ago, the floppy disk capacity used by people was as small as MB.

The floppy disks that became popular in the 1990s come in a variety of sizes, the most common being the 3.5-inch floppy disk. The floppy disk is a plastic card in one direction. In the middle of the back of the plastic sheet is a circular metal that can be slightly moved. The upper part of the plastic sheet has a metal slide that can be pulled apart. You have to use a special floppy disk drive to read the contents.

After entering 2000, the floppy disk was gradually eliminated by the U disk and the optical disk, so many 00s did not have any impression of this storage medium.

■ Eliminating outdated products is good, but please consider replicating some classics

Although childhood memories are gone forever, it is fortunate that most of the old products mentioned in the article have been replaced by better new products (such as floppy disks), which gives us a better experience. But products such as "3D Pinball Space Cadet" are not far behind the times, and the introduction of a high-resolution reset version should be able to stir up a lot of waves. Moving your eyes to search dogs and Office clips, I don't think it's a bad idea to incorporate these animated images into the new Office and search features. Microsoft can even play with the voice assistant to play new tricks.

In short, if this style of re-enacting good products in the past can come to the consumer electronics field, consumers will have more choices. If used properly, it can even give the product itself a differentiation advantage.
