Office is the office suite most used in both home and professional environments. Word, Excel and PowerPoint are basic programs that tend to be on any computer, especially those that use Windows.
This suite has two editions: on the one hand we have Office 365, the subscription that allows us to always be up-to-date, without worrying about specific versions, and on the other, the specific versions, such as Office 2016 or 2019.

Microsoft continues to work constantly on the development of its office suite, and thus it has just announced what will be the new version: Office 2021.
Office 2021: all about the new version of Microsoft's suite
Microsoft Office 2021 is now official. Just a few hours ago, the company confirmed the arrival of this new version, a version designed, above all, for those users who do not trust the cloud and do not want to pay for Office 365.
This new version will be the one that will replace the 2019 version current, and will bring all the news that 365 users have already been able to try.
This new 2021 version of Office is not going to bring many great news compared to the 2019 version. And, of course, nothing that is not already in Office 365.
What will stand out most of this new version of the suite is the new improved dark mode that we can all enjoy writing our documents. We will also find new functions in Excel and several improvements scattered throughout the suite. All the changes that Office 365 users have been receiving little by little, now in a new version.
Microsoft has not been too specific about the date of availability, but everything indicates that it will be for the third-fourth quarter of this year, that is, around September or October. Of course, it should be noted that Microsoft plans to raise the price of Office.

For example, Professional Plus, Standard and individual applications will increase their price by around 10%. These editions are less and less worth paying for with the many benefits that Office 365 brings.
Office LTSC, making things easier for companies
In addition to the new Office 2021, Microsoft has once again demonstrated its concern for companies. There are still many companies that are not prepared to make the leap to the cloud, and therefore, they must have an offline version of the suite as such, the versions that have always been installed.
LTSC, Long Term Servicing Channel or long-term maintenance channel, is the version of the suite designed for these companies. As with Windows LTSC, the main purpose of this version of Office is to offer these business users a version that allows them to forget about updates and version changes, a version that will last for a long time.
For now, Microsoft has not confirmed what will be the news or the features of this edition, but everything indicates that it will be focused on including features such as enhanced dark mode, accessibility improvements and advanced features such as Dynamic Arrays and XLOOKUP in Excel.
Support for this new Office LTSC is going to change. Instead of being maintained for 7 years, like other versions, it will now "only" be supported for 5 years. This version is also expected to arrive in the second half of 2021, probably alongside the launch of the new LTSC version of Windows 10.
