Vesti.net: Kaspersky Lab is working on a neuromorphic chip

Data from users of the Gosuslugi portal in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug leaked to the network.

The Kommersant publication was the first to report the problem, they write that 28,000 people posted data on one of the specialized forums, and the database contains TIN, SNILS, phone numbers, email addresses and, possibly, authorization tokens for access to personal accounts citizens from mobile devices.

That is, attackers in theory could enter other people's rooms and operate on behalf of the victims.

According to experts, the leak has not been noticed for more than twenty days, the Ministry of Communications has already announced that they are checking the incident at Rostelecom, which is the operator of the State Service, reported that the leak was not on their side.

They suggest that the developers of the Ugra State Services application are to blame for it. It was commissioned by the local government, it operates autonomously from the federal government services.

Kaspersky Lab, together with the Motiv Novosibirsk Company, is working on the first neuromorphic chip in Russia, whose name is Altai.

If simple, then this chip will deal with the acceleration of neural networks, that is, artificial intelligence.

The fact is that now neural networks usually work on ordinary graphic processors, in other words, on video cards, as it turned out, they are better suited for working with large arrays of related data with object recognition and so on. Details are in the Vesti.net program.
